Thanks Credit Rescore!
I recently noticed one of my credit cards had bumped my interest rate to 20.5% from 6.99%. After calling them to ask why, they told me it was because my credit score had dipped below 580. Had it not been for your services I am sure all of my accounts with larger balances would have done the same thing. With your help I was able to save many thousands of dollars by raising my credit score back up. Thanks again.

Dear Eva,
Thank you for your kind words and we’re happy things worked out so well for you. Most consumers really don’t know that existing creditors will review credit, payment and usage histories on an account especially when financial markets are running “thin” as they are now. It is not unusual to receive interest rate increases as wells as freezes on future account access.
Dear Credit Rescore,
It had been nearly two years since we got our sub prime mortgage to purchase our home and we were happy to get it with our low credit scores. Sixty days prior to the second anniversary of our loan, we received a notice from our lender stating that it would be converting into an adjustable rate and that our new interest rate would be 9.75%. We had absolutely no idea how we would be able to afford that kind of payment and were both shocked when we learned that a minimum credit score of 680 was needed to refinance. We discussed our situation with a friend who had had a similar experience. He explained that you were able to assist him and, just like him, the information that you were able to provide us was invaluable for getting out of the mess we found ourselves in. Thank you Credit Rescore.

Dear George and Shiela,
More than happy to have helped and that everything worked out well for you. Many folks may not have known this but very few people really needed to go to a sub-prime loan to begin with. Many times just the most minor of corrections can have a major and positive impact on credit scores. Continued good luck and thank you for taking the time to write to us. We love happy clients!
Hello Credit Rescore,
We were approved for a short term balloon loan that would come due one year from the anniversary date of the purchase of our home and were amazed at how quickly our lender was able to fund it. No way we could have ever have known the dilemma we’d be facing when our note was called due what with the credit markets drying up. I hate to think of what could have happened had I not been able to increase my credit scores. I know this sounds corny but thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hello Raul,
It was our pleasure to have assisted you. Credit score requirements are actually higher now that when you made your application just a few short months ago. Bringing those scores up are of even greater importance as time passes.
Dear Credit Rescore,
My parents found it necessary to apply for a M.O.H.E.L.A. Parent Plus student loan for my freshman year of college. We were totally devastated and really didn’t know what we were going to do when my parents told me they were turned down for my student loan due to credit scores that were too low. Thanks to you, my parents were able, in just a few weeks, to correct the issues that had been the reason for being turned down in the first place. Without your help, I wouldn’t have been able to start freshman fall classes on time. We could not have done it without you. Best wishes,
Rhonda N., Los Angeles, CA
Hi Rhonda,
Congratulations!!! Education can be the best investment your family ever made. Recent studies have shown lifetime incomes are between two and three times greater for college grads than for those that don’t go beyond high school. Many people are just beginning to realize that when financial and credit markets “dry up”, the effects don’t stop with credit cards or mortgages. In fact, all segments of the financial and credit markets are affected including student, auto and installment loans. Best wishes for continued success in school.
Hi CRI,
I wanted to write because had it not been for your assistance I would have had a $698 a month car payment instead of the $460 a month I ended up with. Neither was cheap but there was no way could I have afforded that first one (especially with the price of gasoline). All I really wanted was a new car with a good warranty that would be reliable getting me back and forth to work. The credit manager at the car dealer told me that very few of his lenders could help me and that the two that could were both at 18%. That would be like putting a car on a credit card! My credit scores were pretty low and I couldn’t have brought them up without your help. $460 a month times 60 months is $27,600. $698 times 60 months is $41,880. According to my math it looks like you helped me save more than $14,000. Wow CRI! Thanks again.

Dear Daniel,
Glad to hear everything worked out for you. Many people don’t know that you don’t always get the best deals in financing from an auto dealer. Many times, better rates are available through other sources. And, as you already know, the higher your credit score, the lower the interest rate, so always make sure you re-score before the loan approval process begins!
Dear Credit Rescore,
I was trying to rent an apartment in the middle of a pretty terrible divorce and really became concerned after having been turned down by several landlords. The reason was a poor repayment history and low scores on my credit report. I’m so happy that my friend, a realtor, told me about you. With your help I discovered that the reason my credit score was so low was that several of my soon-to-be ex’s derogatory items that I was not responsible for continued to appear on my credit report. I was surprised at how quickly I was able to get them cleared up and have you to thank for it. Thought I’d drop you a note telling you how much I’m enjoying the new place. Thanks again.

Dear Sara,
We love happy endings around here, thanks for sharing that. It’s not unusual for a credit score decline due to items appearing on a credit report that don’t belong to the applicant. It happens frequently with all types of applications: credit card, automobile, installment and mortgages. Best of luck in the future, we were pleased to have helped.
